2020 Manchester Championship Show was where Brat made his first appearance in the ring in Minor Puppy Dog. He looked a real baby compared with some of the older puppies. So we were please when he was placed 2nd in a very nice class.
His next show was Crufts 2020 a couple of months later. He was the youngest puppy there, at just 9 months old. It was a big ask and we were absolutely thrilled when he knocked it out of the park, by firstly winning Best Puppy Dog and then going on to win Best Puppy in Breed. The future looked very bright indeed, with some lovely comments from around the ring.
Until that is, when COVID struck!!! All shows were off.
Fast forward to Southern Counties Championship Show 2021 and Brat enters the ring once again. This time as an adult dog. It was such an enourmous high not only to be back showing, but also because, after all the time off, he marched into the ring and stole the show. He won his first CC and Best of Breed. Many thanks to the judge John Carter for making this a day to remember.
It didn't take long for his next two CC's to follow. The first at Bath Championship Show, under renowned judge and breed specialist Gavin Robertson. Here is also caught the eye of Gill Peak, in the Utility Group to win Group 2. Then at Driffield, what an honour it was to win his final CC under Liz Cartledge.
