Merlin aged 7 weeks and 6 months
Merlin has started his show career in fine style, winning Puppy Dog at both Birmingham National and Richmond Championship Show. At Crufts 2008 Merlin won Best Puppy Dog and then a couple of weeks later won his first CC at The Schnauzer Club of Great Britain Championship Show under breed specialist Dougie Wilkinson...a good start to a promising career
At Three Counties Championship Show Merlin won his second CC (with Best of Breed) under breed specialist Shaun Frost. What a fabulous win at only 16 months old.

Just under 18 months old Merlin won his third CC at Bournemouth Championship Show (again with Best of Breed) beating the UK's finest dogs. This means that he has now joined many of his ancestors with a Champion Status. Many thanks to the judge Clare Coxall for this memorable day, which was then topped off by being short listed in a strong Utility Group.
Merlin's success continued throughout 2009 where he won a further 4 CC's (3 of which with BOB). The highlight must be winning BOB at Crufts under Schnauzer Specialist Sheena Martin and then again recently at the Northern Schnauzer Club Championship Show under German judge Herr Fertig. To date, Merlin has won 6 BOBs, 7CCs and 1 Res CC.
Well done to both Gail and Merlin.
He is owned and loved by Gail and Martin Wise, many thanks to them for putting such effort into Merlins show career.
