2014 saw jack enter the ring as a teeny weeny puppy, but boy did he make his presence known. Obviously attending a show is hugely exciting and at times, I wondered if he would ever calm down. Although over exuberent, he generally pleased the judges with his type, soundness and substance, often winning his class or coming a close second. By the end of his puppy career, he had also picked up his first CC under Jean Lanning at Birmingham Championship Show, topping the day off by winning Puppy Group 4. Later in the year, at Midland Counties Championship Show he won his first Junior Class and took the Reserve CC also under breed specialist Len Anness. Well done Jack, time to grow up now...
2015 starts well with Jack winning Junior Dog at Manchester Championship Show. Time then to compete with the big boys and Jack doesn't disappoint the FCI judge Benny Blid at the Schnauzer Club of GB Championship Show. He wins his first limit class and goes on to win the CC and Best Opposite Sex. What a brilliant day.
Coming full circle, Jack gains his Championship title at Birmingham Championship Show, exactly one year after winning his first CC as a puppy. He took the Dog CC and Best of Breed under all breed judge Andrew Brace.
