Wilderness Galaxy
Well not exactly a Schnauzer, but still as much a part of the Zakmayo family as any of the others.
Galaxy is a Swedish Warmblood x Thoroughbred and is by Maximillian. He was bred by friends of ours, Richard and Yvonne Eaves from the Wilderness Stud in Somerset
In 2008 he is 9 years old. He currently competes in Dressage, at Elementary Level and you've guessed it - Showing. In his first year as a Showman he qualified for The Horse of the Year Show and in Dressage he has qualified for the British Dressage Regional Championships every year since he started competing.
He is typical of the type of animal that we like. His conformation is top class and he has a certain flair, especially when he moves into trot. His movement was described as EXUBERENT by the judges at the Horse of the Year Show and in the Dressage arena he always scores highly for his 'off the floor paces'.
