Wins 2012

Comic Arrives!

Well we've had a fairly quiet year at Zakmayo. We eagerly awaited the arrival of Comic. He's now here and boy are we impressed. Check out his page, he's such a character and will be instrumental in our future breeding program.

Northern Schnauzer Club Championship Show

Hurragh Comic is getting the hang of this showing business. He behaved impeccably. He won a strong Open Dog Class and then the Reserve CC. Absolutley thrilled. Many thanks to the judge Carol Daniels for such a lovely win. It was the icing on the cake when he was beaten by a Sizzle grandson for the ticket, well done Liz Longdin with Barrontoft Best Bet For Wellingley on his first CC. The day was then topped off when Comic met his 4 month old daughter Jazz - who promptly put him in his place with her needle sharp baby teeth! That's the spirit Jazz!

Midland Counties Championship Show

This was an extremely important show for us. Jean Lanning is a highly respected judge which has always preferred a true schnauzer which can move well. I had all fingers and toes crossed and just prayed that she would like our new boy from across the water. Seems like my prayer was heard. Comic wins his class, the Dog CC and Best of Breed. He was then shortlisted in a strong Utility Group. I was so happy I could have cried! What a day.

Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show

Comic still finds the show atmosphere so exciting, however he managed to settle enough at Scotland to win the Limit Dog Class and then pick up the Reserve CC. What a little star! Many thanks to the judge Sue McGran for thinking so highly of our young upstart!

Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show

Dave Killelea judged the Welsh Kennel Club. Comic had a good day winning his Limit Dog class.

Paignton Championship Show

Comic hits the ring. Due to a lack of experience he finds the atmosphere pretty exciting. Eventually he settles and wins his Limit Dog Class. Many thanks to Clare Coxall for a lovely first win.

Crufts 2012

Crufts was a real bonus for us. We only took a puppy and hadn't in our wildest dreams expected her go so well. She had very little experience and yet she marched into the ring and won Puppy Bitch, Best Puppy and the Reserve Bitch CC. What a day, we were thrilled!. Many thanks to the judge Chris Clay (breed Specialist).
