Remy
Midland Counties
The biggest surprise of all came at Midland Counties when Tottie, our 7 month old puppy, won Minor Puppy Bitch and then took the Bitch CC. Cathy Lawton-Anderson (the judge) commented that she had given her goosebumps as soon as she entered the ring. The day was made even more special when the Dog CC was given to a Sizzle son, Deneen's Toe The Line. This was his second CC and he is only 12 months old.
Driffield
Remy continued her success at Driffield by winning the Reserve Bitch CC. The judge was Jennifer Menary.
Richmond
Our new puppies Fender and Tottie made their debut at Richmond. They bounced around the ring and both won their Minor Puppy classes.
City of Birmingham
Birmingham must be our lucky County as Remy won her second CC and BOB under Dan Ericsson.
Bournemouth
Joy Beardall had a day to remember when Marni won her first CC and BOS at Bournmouth Championship Show. The judge was Zena Thorne-Andrews.
Scotland, Southern Counties and Blackpool
Remy continued her success at the above 3 shows by winning the Reserve Bitch CC at each. The judges were Steven Hall, Martin Butler and Melanie Spavin.
Birmingham National
With the first of our outdoor spring shows it was a good start to the season, Remy won the Bitch CC and BOS under Breeder Judge Lucy Dixon.
Schnauzer Club of Great Britain
Ulf Brathen came over to the UK to judge this show. With another large entry, Sizzle and Remy both performed well to win the Dog Reserve CC and the Bitch Reserve CC.
Crufts
Crufts is the biggest dog show in the World and 2011 hit another large entry for Miniature Schnauzers with nearly 160 dogs. Breeder Judge Barry Williams took centre stage. The Zakmayo Kennel had another successful day. First up was Sizzle, he showed his socks off to win the Dog Reserve CC. Marni won her Limit Bitch class and Rula topped them all by winning Open Bitch and the Bitch CC. She was definitely having an 'on' day as she wagged her tail all the way around the ring.
