Wins 2008

Number 2 Miniature Schnauzer

Sizzle ended up as Number 2 Miniature Schnauzer in 2008, which is a remarkable achievement considering that he didn't enter the show ring until June. In total he won two Best in Show (at Schnauzer Club Shows), two Utility Groups, 7CC's and and 4 Res CC's.

Ladies Kennel Association

2008 went out with a bang for us a Zakmayo. Sizzle won the Dog CC with Best of Breed and then won his second Utility Group. LKA is a very prestigious show and always brings in a high entry. This year was no different with the total dog entry reaching 11,000 plus. What a perfect end to a perfect year to reach the last seven. To top this Sizzle's daughter Rula also won Minor Puppy Bitch at just 6 months old. She's a real baby, but bounced around the ring and stole a fair few hearts along the way. We would like to thank the breed judge Len Anness and the Group Judge Dr M Boggia-Black for the best christmas present ever!

The Miniature Schnauzer Club Annual Championship Show

What a thrill to be awarded BEST IN SHOW at this Breed Speciality Show. Sizzle is proving to be a dog of a lifetime and has yet again come up trumps. Many thanks to the judge, breed specialist Ted Illot.

Darlington Championship Show

Darlington proved to be another good day for us at Zakmayo. Sizzle topped the boys and won his third CC, meaning that he is now crowned a UK champion. I think that 'Ch ToMar's Two Thumbs Up to Zakmayo' has a certain ring to it, don't you! Many thanks to the judge, breed specialist Linda Forsyth

Richmond Championship Show

What a day we had at Richmond Championship Show. Sizzle won Limit Dog, his second CC and Best of Breed. He then went into the Utility Group and won this also, beating the UK's top winning dogs. We are so proud of the fact that Sizzle made it to the last seven at show where the entry was nearly 10,000 dogs. What an achievement. Our sincere thanks to the breed judge Jackie Kitchener and the group judge Martin Freeman for making this one of the most memorable days

Merlin won Best Puppy Dog and Lillia won Best Puppy Bitch. It's a great achievement when litter brother and sister go head to head for Best Puppy at Crufts. It was a close decision, finally Lillia beat her brother for this prestigious award. The Judge was Schnauzer Specialist Sarah Hatrell (Khinjan Schnauzers).
